Bits and Bobs #13

Bits and Bobs

My mind is full of bits and bobs this week – from Christmas preparations and gifts to improvements that we want to put in place at home. And it’s all starting to feel a bit overwhelming! I know that I’m putting these pressures on myself, so today I’m going to start writing lists (when in doubt, write a list – that’s my motto). Because I desperately need to put everything into perspective and prioritise my time (and money) going forward.

How about you? Have you worked out a good end of year system so that you don’t become overwhelmed at this time of the year?

I’ve found a few great Bits and Bobs for you this week. Enjoy this lead up to the silly season!

  1. I recently found out that I have these, but was told that unless I have any symptoms that are causing me problems – there are no immediate concerns. (Apparently, this condition affects 80% of midlife women.)
  2. I wish we celebrated Thanksgiving here in New Zealand, but I might try making this Pumpkin Swirl Slab Pie anyway.
  3. Why decorating your home can be seen as a form of self-care.
  4. I recently bought this deliciousness and wow, it’s so yummy!
  5. Looking for a pair of red shoes to complete a Christmas outfit? I’ve got these and I LOVE them!

Okay, I’m off to start my lists of things to do! I’m going to do a shopping list set-up (to save time), gift lists, furniture prioritising and more. And I might also do some decluttering before I haul out my Christmas decorations (nothing like adding to my list of things to accomplish!).

Have a happy, stress-free week, everyone! x
