My Five Favourites

The Five Favourites

Hi there! How was your weekend?

Now that the weather is getting warmer, we are planning to do more local hikes around Auckland. We live in such a beautiful part of the world and now that we don’t have kids’ sports on weekends, we want to take advantage of our free time and enjoy our city and its surrounds. Do you explore your home town much? When you’re not reading, playing on your phone or watching TV, that is… 😉 Speaking of which…

Here are My Five Favourites for this week…

My Five Favourites

We just finished watching Season 2 of The Kominsky Method and we’re still enjoying this show. My husband finds this show hilarious and I find it interesting because I guess it shows me what my husband and I have coming up in our futures. Hahaha!

App Recommendations

I downloaded an app called Tone it Up a while ago and I have to admit that I’ve been incredibly lazy and haven’t really used it yet. Also, I don’t often (if ever) buy apps on my phone, I tend to go for the freebies. But I’m now thinking that I should perhaps invest in myself. Do you use a workout or fitness app? Do you love it?

Book Recommendation

I’m dying to read Talking to Strangers: What We Should Know about the People We Don’t Know by Malcolm Gladwell. It looks at why we act the way we do. And the book description on Goodreads includes a few interesting snippets from the book which is making me want to read it even more.

My Five Favourites

I love accidentallywesanderson on Instagram because it’s a seriously beautifully curated account featuring the most fantastic photos. You can click on the link in the bio and submit your own photos for consideration on the Instagram account too.

My Five Favourites

I’ve followed a DIY blog called A Beautiful Mess for many years and I was stoked to find out that the sisters who run this blog have just started a podcast! Now I’m not into DIY, but these women cover lots of different topics, have some amazing photography and video phone apps, and one of the sisters has adopted two little girls from China. So what I’m trying to say is that they are fascinating and I’m excited to hear their voices now. You might too.

I hope you find something you enjoy in My Five Favourites today!
