Bits and Bobs #12

Bits and Bobs

Hello!

How has your week been? We’ve now finished with Halloween (I decorated our front porch and handed out sweets) and Guy Fawkes (spotted quite a few fireworks displays), so it’s time to start thinking about Christmas! Yes, it’s true. Have you started prepping for the festive season yet (if you celebrate Christmas)?

love the Christmas season! But before I get carried away, here are a few things I wanted to share with you:

My Bits and Bobs for this week

  1. Do you spend enough time alone? Is it a luxury?
  2. Why throwing an informal dinner party is a good idea. Don’t be lazy – or you’ll miss out!
  3. I just bought a very cool print from this site! Are you looking for affordable art – maybe a stocking filler or a Christmas gift?
  4. Unbelievable Flamenco dancing!
  5. Have you seen these LED light therapy masks?

I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead. Are you doing anything fun? I’m going to publish this post and then fetch my son who’s been away on a school camp for the past three and a half weeks! I’ve missed him like crazy and can’t wait to hear all about his adventures. Have your kids ever been away for a long stretch like that?

We got two (physical) letters from him while he’s been away and I sent him a food parcel with letters from each family member. It reminded me of my youth when we often posted letters and used snail mail. Those were some great times. It’s such fun to receive a letter in the postbox, isn’t it? The only thing is that my handwriting isn’t what it used to be back then because I don’t write much besides shopping lists these days! Hah! How about you?
