Bits and Bobs #16 – great reads!

Bits and Bobs

It’s Bits and Bobs Friday and I’ve got some good articles for you this week. I hope you’ve all had a good, productive and happy week. And that you’re maintaining your sanity in the run-up to Christmas! *turningupmychristmasmusic*

Okay, so information about menopause is on the rise thanks to numerous people researching, talking and writing about it – which is wonderful. In my opinion, the more we know about the subject, the better equipped and happier we will be. And to be prepared and see perimenopause and menopause normalised is something that is sorely needed, and something that I strive for here on my blog.

And in other news, I’m still struggling with my summer cold which is super-annoying, to say the least. Having so little energy at this busy time of the year is not ideal, but I’m getting there slowly. And at least it’s making me slow down and live in each moment, I guess. (Meh, actually, I’m over it.)

Okay, before I start wallowing in self-pity, here are the articles (and video) that I wanted to share with you this week:

Middle-age is dead. Loved this article. Worth a read.

Middle-age spread can be dangerous.

An ode to middle-age.

How the mental workload at home affects menopause. Ahem.

The women changing conversations about menopause – see the video below for places to go for more information.
