Bits and Bobs #15 – happy weekend!

Bits and Bobs

Hi. How are you doing? I’ve been a bit under the weather for the past week – not majorly so, but enough to derail my plans to continue my new exercise plan. Argh! I was doing so well there for a minute – I did my first aqua jogging class and completed a 13km walk and the next week I had no energy. Go figure.

Anyway, I’ve tried not to fall off the exercise wagon completely so I went for a leisurely beach walk with a friend during the week and I’ve just come back from a 25km ride on my new (Christmas present) bike! Road biking is not for the weak of heart, I must say, but I’m sure I’ll become more confident as time passes. (Or maybe I’ll only do track riding, who knows?!)

And now I want to share a few Bits and Bobs that I found interesting on the internet in the last couple of weeks:

How friendship changes with age according to 3 older women. These 3 women’s personalities really came through boldly in this article. I loved their honesty and insights. These days with our busy lifestyles, it’s important to maintain friendships, especially as we become older.

Winners of the 2019 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards – hilarious!

I’ve just ordered this facelift (aff link) – and I can’t wait until it arrives!

When Menopause Comes Early – what is early and what is premature?

Midlife – no crisis, more like a celebration.

Grey hair – an identity crisis?

I hope your Christmas preparations are coming along nicely and that you’re enjoying the festive season so far. Can you believe it’s already the 7th of December? I’ve started my Christmas shopping, but I still have a few gifts to get before I can feel more relaxed.

Have a great weekend!
