Bits and Bobs #14

Bits and Bobs

My two regular posts – Bits and Bobs and My Five Favourites seemed to be the only blog posts that I was finding time to do every week so I’ve made the decision to do these posts every other week from now on – in other words, one week I will do a Bits and Bobs post and the next week I’ll do a My Five Favourites post. That’ll give me more time to write other more meaty posts every week too.

A new Bits and Bobs post is here. Coming every other week now. #bitsandbobs Click To Tweet

I hope you’re all easing into the festive season and not succumbing to the excessive stress that is often so prevalent at this time of the year. I’ve shared a few gift guides on the blog recently to give you some inspiration for when you do your Christmas shopping. I hope you find them helpful.

And other than prepping for Thanksgiving and Christmas, what have you been up to lately? We had some friends stay with us last weekend and it was lovely to catch up over the course of two days. We went for a hike to one of the many waterfalls around Auckland on Sunday which was great fun.

And now onto some articles that I want to share with you this week:

How to Have Closer Friendships.

Can’t have a real pet? Try one of these instead.

What you can learn when your world falls apart.

Wouldn’t it be amazing to live in this beautiful house in France?

Ooh, I love these Christmas decorations so much.

A new book about Midlife that is raw and real. A “documentary account of domesticity, 20 years in”, this looks fascinating.

Who said it – a middle-aged woman or a teenage boy?

A very cute reminder of something incredibly important.

And that’s all for Bits and Bobs this time – see you in two weeks time!

Bianca x
