My five favourites – the September issue

my five favourites

Hi! So I’ve decided to totally simplify My Five Favourites this month. Because it feels like I’ve pretty much spent this lockdown watching Criminal Minds while playing Blockudoku on my phone! And I’m tired. Honestly, it’s exhausting having so little variety in a day.

Here are my picks for September:

Have you watched The White Lotus yet? We’d heard good things about it, so we thought we’d give it a go and it’s been rather entertaining so far. Set at a tropical resort in Hawaii, this series covers some very real, contemporary topics experienced by the staff and guests. And for those of us who are yearning to travel, it’s a treat to be watching people who are on vacation!

I can’t recommend this book enough. I learnt so much.

This Zoe Pebble Shoulder Bag looks gorgeous.

This Biossance Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil is absolutely amazing stuff! I’m onto my second bottle now. (I’ll admit I did a little happy dance when it arrived this week.)

And after writing my previous blog post about friendships in midlife, I saw this post over on McSweeneys – Guide to making friends as an adult.

And that’s all for this month’s edition of My five favourites. In the meantime, check the ‘Regulars’ dropdown menu for all of My five favourites posts, if you’re looking for more suggestions.
