Diving right in…
Here are My Five Favourites for this week…
Who’s looking forward to The Crown Season 3? (Me!) Olivia Colman (I love her!) takes over from Claire Foy, playing the Queen in Season 3. And there are quite a few other new actors in this season too, compared to the previous two seasons. I can’t wait.
This week I’d like to tell you about Sanvello – a fantastic self-care app and the Number 1 app for stress, anxiety and depression. Their mission is “To help people build the life skills they need, anytime, anywhere, in any way they choose”. And according to its website:
More than a meditation app, Sanvello gives you clinically validated techniques for dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression.
If you haven’t yet read the book Educated by Tara Westover – do yourself a favour and get onto it. You won’t be sorry because it’s fantastic and a real page-turner.
This week I discovered Julia Rose on Instagram and I’m fascinated. For those of you who are looking for authentic designer vintage (pre-loved) handbags and scarves – go and check out this account. I’m getting more and more into the pre-loved market. And I think it’s important to start supporting companies that push sustainability.
And this week I listened to a couple of podcasts, but the one that stood out the most was David Plouffe’s interview with Hillary Clinton. Fascinating interview. I think it’s important to listen to the exact source when it comes to the news because sometimes even the ‘top’ media companies get it wrong when they’re getting the news out there. In this crazy time we’re living in, the onus is on us to make sure what we’re reading is in fact based on facts.
I hope you find something you enjoy in My Five Favourites today!
