Being the height of the holiday party season, I thought I’d put together a post to inspire you to glow and sparkle at your holiday parties this year! Or even simply to wow your family and friends at your Christmas Eve dinner!
It’s the season to embrace the sparkle! So let’s do this!
First of all…
Skincare and Makeup Prep
Now, glowing skin is something you can work on all year round, not only when you have a party to go to, of course. And healthy-looking skin is easily achieved with a good skincare routine. But there are certain products that can give you that something extra to make your skin look brighter and fresher for your special occasion.
Here are my picks for prepping and brightening your skin and makeup that’ll make you glow:

What to Wear
Zara has some beautiful holiday party clothes at the moment – lots of sequins and other textured pieces that are always lots of fun and instantly add sparkle to any party. But if you can’t bring yourself to wear sequins, you could add a spot of bling with a pair of shiny earrings, a handbag or some cute Rhinestone hairclips. These would all work to make an outfit pop.
Blue Satin Jumpsuit – I think this is my favourite.
Sequinned Top – Although this top is pretty cute too.
Fringed Top – Pair this with the metallic skirt for a chic, modern look.
Metallic-effect Ruffled Skirt – Instant bling.
Gathered Satin Top – Versatile for date nights or any other night-time events, I reckon.
Belt with Bejewelled Buckle – You can never have too many belts.
Rhinestone-appliqued high-heeled shoes
Sequinned Bodysuit – This bodysuit would be a great addition to a capsule wardrobe.
