When putting together this gift guide for Teen & College girls, I chatted to my two daughters (aged 18 and 21) about gifts that they’d like for Christmas. Because so often the gifts that I think they’d love aren’t what teens and young adults actually think are awesome. Go figure. So here’s our gift guide for teen and college girls this year. This popular shampoo hydrates, repairs and strengthens all types of hair. And if your girls are anything like mine, they appreciate luxury and lament the fact that they don’t have ‘fancy’ (read: expensive) shampoo through the year, so buying them a bottle of good shampoo will put a big smile on their faces.

Get your hair to dry faster! This super-absorbent microfibre towel makes your hair softer and shinier, cuts down on frizziness and helps your colour treatments last longer. Actually, this towel looks so awesome that I think I might buy one for myself!
This book is a practical guide for this age group to learn how to live successfully in the world. Nothing like throwing in a really practical gift at Christmas time, is there? (Okay, this one was all me, but I’m sure my girls will get some benefit out of it. Hahaha!)

Girls of this age should have a good skincare routine in place – concentrating on prevention (oil control & ageing) and protection (from sun damage). So this would be the perfect gift because it’s something they need but wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves.

I’m all about throwing in the SPF anywhere I can these days – because sun damage prevention is so important for girls of this age.

Ask it for the news, movie showtimes, traffic and weather updates or to call a friend – it’ll change your teen/college kid’s life. If you’re looking for some makeup for your teen/college girl, then you can’t really go wrong with this brow pencil. My sister recently gave each of my girls one of these and they both love it.
A portable printer to print 2 and 3-inch photos from your phone. Photo paper with peel and stick backing sold separately. This is a great idea because girls of this age love to take and display photos, don’t they?
