Are you bored with your board games?

During the last few weeks, we’ve been playing games more than we usually do. Board games, to be exact.

How about you? Have you also dusted off your old board games and brought back family games evenings at your house lately? I have loved getting my kids out of their bedrooms and off their devices to play a game of Cluedo. It’s been loads of fun, accompanied by the odd bit of shouting, but mostly it’s been wonderful to spend time playing games with each other again.

Okay, I should probably admit that we started strong during the first few weeks of lockdown but nowadays it takes a little more encouraging to get a family board game going. But I think that’s mainly because we’ve grown bored with the games we have at home.

So I’ve decided that we need some new, more exciting games if we’re going to start enjoying family games nights again. Games that will convince my family to continue with game nights every now and then, even after lockdown comes to an end.

And I’ve found these great games that I want to add to our collection. Some of them are old favourites that we’d never bought for ourselves, and there are also a few new ones that I’d never even heard of before! Do you enjoy any of these?
