9 of my best Advent calendars this year

Do you use Advent Calendars? And are you ever too old for one?

I say we’re never too old for an advent calendar! Because who doesn’t love the anticipation of Christmas? Yes, at our age, we might have lost a bit of the Christmas magic that we felt as children, but Christmas can still be a much anticipated time of the year. And one way to add joy and magic to this season, in my opinion, is to use a good old advent calendar.

It helps me to appreciate every busy day running up to Christmas and makes me mindful of being grateful and slowing down. What do you think? Do advent calendars still evoke some kind of magic for you?

Here are 9 advent calendars that I thought were pretty cute

For Your Kids

Even your teens and young adult kids will (sometimes secretly) enjoy continuing the Christmas tradition of opening a small gift or getting a small treat every day – so don’t forget them. They might pretend to be too old for this tradition, but if my experience is anything to go by, older kids still love Christmas traditions.
