5 things I loved in August, coming up.
It’s tricky to look at Spring/Summer clothing when the weather is wet and dreary. But someone’s got to do it! Hah.
Ooh, I’d seen a similar dress on a brilliant UK fashion site a couple of months ago so when I spotted this one in Auckland, I snapped it up. It fits so well, but I did size up because I prefer my dresses slightly looser. I always go for comfort and never want to have to worry about the dress pulling or gaping. I have a dress in my wardrobe right now that I should have sized up but didn’t and now I don’t tend to wear it much.
Yes, it’s about aliens, but don’t be put off because this series is superb. It’s more about relationships and unlike other invasion-type shows, it presents a more ‘real’ way that humans would react to an alien invasion. It feels more believable, is what I mean.

This dress is a winner! It doesn’t look like much on the hanger, but when I tried it on, I fell in love. My selfie photo doesn’t do it justice at all – it’s super comfortable and the sleeve length is perfect. I bought it in my usual size and I would say that it is TTS.
After spending six weeks walking in sandals around Europe, my feet were in dire need of some TLC. I picked up one of these foot peels that I’d heard so much about. And wow – does it work! Your skin will peel after about seven days which is pretty gross. But it’s worth it because my feet have never felt as soft as they feel now.
Chocolate brown is a popular colour trend right now so when I saw this shirt, I snapped it up. Size down because this shirt is quite big.
