After finishing my skincare reset three months ago, I found that I could simplify my skincare routine significantly. So today I thought I’d share my midlife beauty edit with the skincare products I’m using and loving right now.
Back in 2020, I did a post about the products I was using at the time and looking back at that post, I am definitely using fewer products now. The actual routine hasn’t changed that much, though, because at the time I’d been following advice from aestheticians who know what a good midlife skincare routine needs to look like.
There are certain products that we need in order to have healthy, glowing skin. But I’ve learnt that the routine and the number of products doesn’t have to be excessive. And the fun part is trying new products to see which ones work best for you.

Lastly
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt from doing the reset, it’s that your skin needs a few weeks before you can see the impact of certain products. So, I’ll give each of these products a fair go before deciding whether to move on to different ones.
Do you use any ‘hero’ products that you swear by?
