Hi there! Did you have a good weekend?
The weather was fantastic here in Auckland this past weekend and with daylight saving in full swing, it is really starting to feel like summer around here. So we went for brunch in the city on Saturday, followed by an amble along the Pink Walkway. Good weather definitely spurs me on to get outdoors and have fun. How about you? (Check out my Instagram for photos of our outing.)
Here are My Five Favourites for this week…
I mentioned that we’d been to see a movie two weekends ago and I have to share this movie here because we absolutely adored it! It’s called JOJO RABBIT. Do yourself a favour and go and see it!
I started playing Words With Friends 2 and I’m pretty hooked. Do you play any games on your phone?
Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate is a book based on one of America’s scandals involving a Memphis-based adoption organization and how they kidnapped and sold poor children to wealthy families. If you’re looking for a riveting read – this is it.
I’ve been enjoying The Disco Generation account on Instagram lately because the music is wonderful, and the dancing is a huge bonus. “Soul, Disco and Pop music From The Last Six Decades 🎶.”
Actors Kate Hudson and her brother, Oliver Hudson have started a podcast! It’s called Sibling Revelry and it’s out tomorrow apparently. The show will cover the sibling relationship and bond, family dynamics, the human mind and body, and more. So it sounds like lots of fun! Oliver Hudson is a real laugh and the trailer gives you some idea of their banter and what this show will deliver. I’m looking forward to listening to this show.
I hope you find something you enjoy in My Five Favourites today!
