There are many fun trainer styles on the market right now. And knowing that shoes are an essential part of an outfit, it’s reassuring to know that adding a trendy trainer is a painless way to ensure that your look is stylish.
But why invest in trainers? Well, firstly, they are versatile and can be worn with most outfits. Secondly, they’re incredibly comfortable which is always essential. And thirdly, they’re truly an easy way to update your look.
But having so many choices can also be a little daunting. So I’ve listed 10 fun styles that may help you choose a new pair of trainers to pull an outfit together beautifully from your wardrobe.
After searching a good few websites, I found these 10 pairs of trendy trainers – and I’d add any of them to my collection in a flash.
Update your outfits with these 10 fun trainer styles
New Balance 327 White & Burgundy
These New Balance 327s come in a range of colours and depending on the dominant colour theme in your wardrobe, you could choose ones that match your theme.
Adidas Gazelles – Off White
The same goes for the Gazelles. There are about 9 or 10 different colours in this style. I have a pair of these and find that I can wear them with most of my clothing. A little further down this post, I’ve included a brighter colour in this style that could add a fantastic pop of colour to a neutral outfit.
New Balance 550 White & Navy
The 550s have been sold out on many websites over the past few months as they’re quite sought-after for young and old(er). Nab these if you like to be on trend. I think New Balance trainers are the most comfortable of all trainers.
Veja – White and Black
This is another style of trainer that has a cult following. Not known to be as comfortable as New Balance, it is still popular.
Adidas Gazelles – Pink
Here’s the brighter version of the off-white Gazelles shown previously. I love the look of these and feel they’d be a great addition to my wardrobe for Autumn/Winter this year.
New Balance 2002R
Here’s a style that would be very versatile, going with many different outfits. Very ‘on trend’.
2 Classic winter outfits that are easy to put together
New Balance 9060
And if you’re looking for something a little chunkier, then this style is a good option. Being neutral, they would also seamlessly fit with a wide range of outfits.
Converse Chuck 70 High Top – Rhubarb Pie
Good old Chucks are always a good idea. If you haven’t already got a pair of High Tops for the cooler months, I’d highly recommend getting a pair of these. Black or cream are probably the first choices, but this colour would be brilliant for Autumn/Winter.
Asics Gel-Kayano 14 Sneakers
Similar to a couple of trainers mentioned above, these Asics are very popular. Again, they’re neutral, but with a little bit of silver interest on the shoe.
Adidas Samba
These trainers have recently had a moment in the sun and were hard to come by for a while.
Which trainers should you buy?
You may think trainer trends come and go, but I’ve had my Adidas Gazelles for a good few years already and now they’re making a comeback! Because good styles will stand the test of time. So in my opinion, investing in a pair (or two) of trainers is money well spent. They’re a staple item, especially if you opt for a neutral colour.
