More natural makeup trend
The natural or “no makeup” trend has made a comeback during this pandemic (for obvious reasons) – and it’s not only for younger skin. Healthy, glowing mature skin can also opt out of wearing lots of makeup. And feel confident doing so.
This move away from covering up your imperfections to dealing with those imperfections before applying makeup means that our skin then doesn’t need as much makeup as it did before. And subsequently, tinted SPF has become a more sought-after product in makeup routines.
Tinted moisturizer with SPF has become my go-to since this pandemic started. Not having to put makeup on to go out anymore, I found that it was all I needed when I was just staying at home (and even when I did leave the house).
And after doing my skin reset, the introduction of this two-in-one step suits me perfectly too. Not only am I getting coverage that perfects the overall look of my skin, but I’m ticking off the SPF box too.

3 great tinted moisturisers with SPF to try
Just recently I was running low on my tinted SPF and I went online to purchase another tube, only to find that it was out of stock. So I found myself looking at other available options. Here are 3 great tinted SPFs that I rate and that you may also like to consider if you want a quick makeup solution.
I recently rediscovered tinted SPF through Trinny London and their BFF Skin Perfector SPF30 Cream. This cream goes on super easily and evens out your skin, hiding any imperfections. It’s a quick fix for when you’re in a hurry but still want to look “put together”.
I then fell in love with Paula’s Choice Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF30. With Paula’s Choice, I know that I’m putting a good product on my face, so I feel great using this one. As it states in its name, this is a super-light cream.
And lastly, I want to try Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser SPF30 again. I used this product when I was younger and only stopped using it when I got older and thought I needed a thicker foundation. But the way my skin is feeling now, I’d be very happy to try this one again – for that lighter coverage look. I’ve read lots of rave reviews about this product lately.
Are you trying the ‘light coverage’ look or do you prefer full coverage?
