2 brilliant midlife podcasts that have the best information (and I love the most)

midlife podcasts

Midlife podcasts are plentiful right now because talk about midlife and perimenopause is on the rise. And I’m not complaining because it’s about time everyone became more informed about women’s health. But it can be time-consuming to try new podcasts to find a good fit.

So today I’m sharing my two favourite midlife podcasts. They’re consistently good and offer science-based information in a friendly, accessible way. And if you don’t have time for podcasts, these women also have great Instagram accounts that you can follow.

Dr Louise Newson is a leading menopause expert and GP. She founded The Menopause Charity and also has a free menopause support app called balance. Her podcast helps women to get good, evidence-based advice. And it aims to empower women to make informed decisions regarding their treatment and lifestyle choices. Ultimately, she wants women to have a positive menopause experience. I highly recommend following Dr Newson.

Postcards from Midlife

Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin host this brilliant podcast. These two bright, fun women (both previously editors of magazines) consult the experts on a wide range of topics that relate to midlife during what they call “the great midlife unravelling”. And they do it in a fun and very relatable way. The guests they have on their show are informative and offer great insight and learnings for middle-aged women.
